Walk this Way-10 months
I can walk! (a little) On September 16th I took my first steps, whew was that scary! Then on October 12th I started getting a little braver by taking several steps at a time! Now I like to crawl a little, walk a little, crawl a little, walk a little. But I prefer to crawl because I can get places faster!
Stats
Weight: 16 pounds 4 ounces. That's right I haven't gained an ounce! I'm in the 4th percentile! Dr. Martin says I burn alot of calories with all this moving I'm doing.

Baby Aerobics: 8 months
Down & Up, Down & Up... This is how baby aerobics works.
I'm 8 months old now, and boy am I busy!

I pull up on EVERYTHING! Mommy's leg, her plants, the dog, you name it, if I can get ahold of it, I pull up.

I crawl all over the place. Mommy and Daddy can't keep up.

My favorite game to play is "In & Out" You put stuff in, I take it out. You put it back in and, I take it back out!
These are my clean clothes.

This is my diaper bag.

I sleep in my own room now.

After we went on a family vacation to Branson, Daddy said Mama could not put the pack & Play back up in their room. SO... I began sleeping in my own room. And you know what? I like it. I sleep all night and I wake up less since it's so quiet in there. Mommy keeps the monitor right by her ear and jumps when I move. I love to play in my bed when I wake up and I laugh when Mommy or Daddy come in to get me. Since I can put my paci in by myself now, Mommy keeps several in the bed with me. If I lose one, I just find another one.
My favorite toy is Daddy's belt. Mommy says I may not like it so much in a few years.

I got my first kiss on August 7th from...you guessed it! Bryar!

Weight: 16 lbs 1 oz
Clothes size: 3-6 months but I'm about to grow out of them.
Diapers: Size 2
Teeth: Just the two on the bottom
Hair: not alot, and I refuse to keep bows in my hair.

A Little Piece of Heaven on the Red Dirt Road
When Martin and I married in July of 2004, we were able to purchase and pay cash for a small mobile home which we parked next door to his parents here at the end of dirt road. We painted the rooms, layed new floors, and fixed it up. From the beginning our plan was to live here for a few years and then build a house somewhere. But Martin's dream was to never move away from this place he calls home. A few years ago we began saving to purchase the land adjacent to Martin's parents home. In November we became the proud owners of 23 acres of timber land. We're tree farmers now, lol. The time isn't right to build our "dream" home, so in order to make room for Aubrey and to have a more comfortable living space, we added on a room to our little home. Now this is a not a room that most women would go for, but I love it.
"The Camo Room"

This room allowed me to store my books,

Created more pantry room,

And gave us a place for our hunting "gear"

Our little house is not grand, and it's sure not fancy, but it's ours and we thank The Lord for it everyday.
Ephesians 5:20
Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything

Growing and Going: 7 months old
I'm 7 months old now and a lot has happened in one month!
I can crawl! My Mommy and Daddy decided to go out of town for one night for their anniversary, they weren't gone two hours and I decided that I could chase my Memaw's cat. (7/16/11)
This crawling thing is great for me, and my Mommy and Daddy even chase me around. It's so funny. They say "No,No" all the time, but I'm not sure what that means.
I can pull up now too!
But sometimes I fall down, and that makes me mad!
I got my first tooth!! Boy has that been rough. It's just barely poking through the skin so mommy hasn't got a picture of it yet.
I like to blow spit bubbles. I can even mimic you if you do it.
I like to make my "funny face."
I like to put everything in my mouth!
I like to drink water from a straw.
I like to go swimming. (*if the water is warm)
I love my best friend Bryar!
Even if he does steal my toys and my pacifier!
I don't like homemade baby food! My mommy worked so hard but right now, I'd rather have the stuff in the jar. She's still making it and trying to force me to eat it!
And I don't like to hold my own bottle. Mommy's trying to make me, but I'm not having it!
I'm still wearing 3-6 month clothing and I've decided I don't like bows on my head. Mommy puts them on me, and I take them off.
I'm still "Sugar-booger", along with "Tooty Fruity," "Mama's girl," "Daddy's girl," "Grammy's girl", and "Sugar Baby." They call me everything but my name!
Last night I slept in my own room for the first time!(Pictures of room to come)I did great, Mommy not so much.
This is my last week at home with Mommy, :( She goes back to work on Friday. Boo Hoo Hoo. We'll enjoy it while it lasts.
Dear Sweet Aubrey Page,
You bless mine and Daddy's heart everyday. You make us smile and we can't get enough hugs, and kisses. Your sweet smile lights up the room, and you charm everyone you meet. It was hard to let you sleep in your own room last night, Daddy wasn't worried but I was. I'm broken hearted that my summer vacation with you is almost over. I've loved being a "stay at home" mommy.
Daddy and I pray for you everyday. We pray for your health, we pray for the path you will take, but most of all we pray that you will trust The Lord for your salvation. We pray that we can show you the love Jesus has for you and how he came and died on the cross for our sins so that we might believe in him and live with him in heaven. It's hard for me to think of you my sweet little baby as being born a sinner, but the Bible says "For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God," Romans 3:23. Because of our sin, we don't deserve heaven. "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our lord," Romans 6:23. But Jesus paid the way. "For God so loved the World, he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life," John 3:16.
Aubrey we pray that when you are old enough to understand, you will believe.
We love you and can't wait to watch you grow.
Love,
Mommy & Daddy
